Returns & How to Return
We want you to feel and look amazing in your dress. We welcome you to email or DM us prior to making a purchase if you are unsure of your size or a displayed color. This policy is for online sales only. Sales purchased in our Hudson, Massachusetts store must follow the return policy on your receipt and displayed in store. Retail store policy is also outlined at the bottom of this page.
Return Policy
In the event you do not love your Lady Black Tie purchase, you can ship it back within 14 days from the date your package is marked as delivered for an online store credit that never expires. We do not issue refunds for returns. Price adjustments will not be made for any past or future orders.

Eligible Items: Items must be unworn, unwashed, unmarked, unaltered, and undamaged with all original tags intact.

Our items are shipped out in reusable, eco-friendly packaging to simplify your return back to us.

Please include your invoice or name and order number in your return package so that we can easily locate your order in our system and notify you once your return is processed.

Tracking Your Return: You will receive a tracking number with your return label to monitor your package's journey back to us.

Returns are typically processed within 2-4 business days after we receive your return. You will be notified by email when your credit is issued for your return. Your online credit does not expire, so there is no rush if you want to wait for new styles to launch or wait to use it on something you love. Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items

Heavily discounted items marked "FINAL SALE" in the product title or description are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Exchange Process

If you need a different size or style, return your item within 14 days and use the store credit issued once your return is processed.

Store credit will be processed and an email confirmation will be sent within 2-4 business days after we receive your package.

Please note: we do NOT issue refunds, so if you place a separate order for a different size BEFORE you receive your returned store credit, we will not be able to retroactively apply the store credit to a previous order.

Return Eligibility Checklist
To qualify for a return, items must:
✔ Be unworn, in original, resellable condition
✔ Have all original tags and hanging ribbons attached
✔ Be free from makeup stains, perfume, cigarette odor, pet hair, and any other marks
✔ Not have been washed or altered in any way
Items returned that do not meet the above requirements will not be issued a credit and you will be responsible for postage back to you. We will notify all customers who have sent us unqualified returns for any of the above checkmarks. We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if there are any signs of wear, alteration, misuse or damage.
If you send back an item that does not qualify for a return OR if we receive a package back from the shipping carrier due to the address provided being undeliverable, then you will be responsible to pay a return shipping charge. We will hold non-returnable merchandise or packages returned by the shipping carrier for 14 days. After 14 days, the items will be donated to charity.
Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or damage, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery at info@ladyblacktie.com (If we are not notified within 72 hours of receiving the item, it cannot qualify for a replacement.)

Include photos of the defect in your email so we can address your concern.

If your item qualifies, we will ship a replacement of the same item. If you do not want a replacement, we will issue a 115% store credit.

In the event due to human error you receive the wrong size, color, or style, first, we are so sorry this happened! We will correct the mistake ASAP and provide a pre-paid return label for the incorrect item.

Pre-order Items
Pre-ordered items and special orders are nonrefundable. Most of our pre-order styles are made to order. If you no longer need the specific style, we are happy to provide you with a store credit (that will not expire) to put towards something else at a later date. ITEMS PURCHASED IN OUR RETAIL STORE/SHOWROOM
Showroom purchases are made with the ability to try on our dresses before you buy. Therefore, dresses that have been purchased or special ordered from our Hudson, MA showroom cannot be returned or exchanged. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not offer return or exchange for in-store purchases or special orders placed in store due to change of mind or change of circumstance. This policy is displayed on your in-store receipt and is on display at checkout.
